UST Welcomes New Emergency Preparedness Staff Member
KKoby Griffin is the University of St. Thomas’s new emergency preparedness and Clery compliance coordinator. Griffin is responsible for the overall management of the University’s emergency management and preparedness functions.

Emergency Preparedness Events Promote Safety
In honor of National Preparedness Month and to make sure the campus community is prepared for emergency situations, the University of St. Thomas will host a series of events on Sept. 22-24, organized by the Office of Student Affairs. Students, faculty and staff can learn more about staying safe during a natural disaster, man-made incident or other potentially hazardous situations.

The University of St. Thomas is committed to the safety and security of all community members and visitors. The University received a $245,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to create a comprehensive plan to develop, review, improve and fully integrate campus-based all-hazards emergency management and business continuity plans. The campus community should “Be Aware, Be Prepared and Take Action!”
